Multi-Tank upfit

The Multi-Tank Upfit is a medium-duty truck body that enables the driver to haul
bulk diesel fuel without a CDL or HAZMAT endorsement.

It’s designed for the Ford F-550 chassis so the GVWR remains under threshold
for a Commercial Driver’s License. Eight independent, 115-gallon tanks stand
alone as DOT compliant, non-bulk, diesel fuel tanks. Tanks are only connected
when a common manifold is opened at the pumping station; thereby eliminating
the need for a HAZMAT endorsement. An electric manifold option is available to
ensure compliance without requiring operator intervention.

An optional DEF Delivery System is available for those who need both diesel
and DEF capacity. This closed system is fully ISO compliant to maintain purity
and protect Tier 4 equipment. For this option, one of the tanks is reconfigured
for use with DEF and connected to Thunder Creek’s exclusive 2-in-1 DEF
Pumping System

Service & Lube upfit

The Thunder Creek Service and Lube Upfit (SLU) combines the tailored precision
of our Service and Lube Trailer with the nimbleness of a medium-duty service
body. The SLU is uniquely equipped to thrive in tight, urban environments and
compressed jobsites. It can be configured to carry up to eight oils or maintenance
fluids, plus diesel, Diesel Exhaust Fluid, grease and compressed air.

The entire SLU pneumatic pumping system is powered by a built-in VMAC air
compressor, which provides for more storage in the truck body for filters, tools,
and an optional grease keg. Fluid volumes are configurable in 115-, 55-, and
25-gallon tanks, depending on a customer’s fleet maintenance needs. Fluids
supported include fresh oil, reclaimed oil, grease, antifreeze, reclaimed antifreeze, high flow oil, diesel fuel and diesel exhaust fluid. Total capacity for the
SLU is 690 gallons.
